Truck Accident Kills One in Colorado

A passenger in a car was killed when the vehicle he was riding in was clipped by a semi trailer on I-25, near the city of Lonetree, Colorado on March 28.

According to Colorado law enforcement, the truck accident occurred around 10:45 pm in the northbound lanes of I-25. A semi with an empty trailer was changing lanes when it clipped a Toyota Solaris. The driver of the Solaris lost control, left the highway and rolled several times and came to rest near a wildlife fence.

Officers arrived to find a passerby giving CPR to the passenger in the car. He was pronounced dead there on the side of the highway. The driver of the Solaris was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Both people in the car were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the truck accident.

The truck driver cooperated with police and was released. It is not believed drugs or alcohol was involved. Just another one of those things, as they say.

If you have been seriously injured or lost a loved one in a truck accident, please contact an experienced personal injury attorney through the Accident Lawyers Network.
