13 Injured in Florida Bus/Truck Accident
On Monday July 6, 2009, 13 people were injured when a man driving a pickup collided with a Florida bus. The bus accident occurred when the driver of a pickup truck failed to stop at a red light, smashing into the bus, injuring multiple people.
While most of the injuries were minor, the driver of the bus, one bus passenger, and the driver of the pickup truck were seriously injured. At the moment, the man driving the pickup truck has been cited for not stopping at the red light. Fortunately, police have determined that this is not a drunk driving accident.
Bus accidents such as this are very difficult to handle, for the 12 people injured by the driver of the pickup truck, injuries could prevent them from working, and medical bills can pile up into thousands of dollars worth of debt. With an experienced personal injury attorney, the victims of the bus accident can file lawsuits holding the driver of the pickup responsible for their injuries.
Through their bus accident lawsuits, they could recover compensation for their medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering. Negligent drivers like the one who caused this auto accident deserve to be held responsible for their actions, and a personal injury lawsuit will help you recover from all your injuries.
